Leave behind the margaritas and mariachis as you explore the 8-mile Mission Reach section of the San Antonio River Walk. Native plants and grasses grow along the wide banks in this southern part of the River Walk, where walkers, joggers and bicyclists use the paved trails that take you past iconic San Antonio landmarks such as the old Lone Star Brewery and allows access to the four Spanish Missions that are not the Alamo. Enter the Mission Reach from Concepcion Park, Confluence Park or one of the World Heritage mission portals. Non-motorized water craft are allowed on the Mission Reach. Click here for map.
